STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE

The Stewardship Committee for North Clackamas Park meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Milwaukie Center. Meetings are open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate. Committee documents and the meeting schedule are listed below. Meeting summaries are posted on this page as soon as they become available - approximately one week before the next meeting.

Mission

The mission of the Stewardship Committee is to act as stewards for North Clackamas Park, sustaining and promoting a multi-use, environmentally sound, neighbor-friendly park.

Vision

The vision of the Stewardship Committee is to create a collaborative coalition of stakeholders, exchanging ideas in a positive manner and generating consensus-based solutions.

Goals

  • To act in an ombuds function, serving as a voice for the park and the citizens of the district about North Clackamas Park,
  • To create positive solutions for the diverse users of the park and surrounding community, and
  • To be a resource to the Park District, assisting with current and future issues impacting the park.
